Three years ago, the Canadian govt announced the c Three years ago, the Canadian govt announced the creation of an independent ombudsperson with the powers to investigate human rights abuses linked to Canadian companies overseas. 1095 days later (and counting) and the government has failed to give the CORE the tools it needs to be independent and effective, while communities harmed by Canadian companies continue to struggle to obtain justice.⠀
